KUALA LUMPUR: The partnership between MyDIGITAL Corp and Accenture Malaysia will drive and accelerate the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint and the National Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) policy, especially in promoting digital culture and sustainability.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said the signing of the letter of intent on Tuesday would see both parties exploring and identifying opportunities in boosting economic competitiveness through digitalisation.
It would also see the collaborative efforts of developing an agile and competent digital workforce, creating an inclusive digital society as well as driving digital transformation in the public sector.
Since its inception, MyDIGITAL Corp has played a key role in transforming Malaysia into a digitally driven, high-income nation, that is focused on becoming a regional leader in the digital economy, Mustapa said in a statement.
“To date, MyDIGITAL Corp has engaged and collaborated with a total of 11 corporations from the private sector, which include Intel Malaysia, Microsoft (Malaysia), Cisco Systems Inc, Petrosains Sdn Bhd, and Axiata Group Bhd.
“With more such partnerships in the pipeline, I am very optimistic that we would be able to generate a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable socio-economic development through a vibrant digital economy and ecosystem,” said Mustapa.
